1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can keep you signed in, remember settings, prevent abuse, and—with permission—help us understand how the product is used.
2. Essential technologies
Essential cookies and storage support authentication, security, load balancing, invitation and redirect flows, saved privacy choices, and other functions required for TCR to work. These cannot be switched off through our analytics preference control because the service may not function correctly without them.
3. Analytics technologies
When you select “Accept analytics,” TCR may use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand page views, feature interactions, performance, errors, and product adoption. PostHog may use cookies and local storage and may provide session replay. Session replay is configured to mask form inputs. We use this information to improve TCR, not to sell personal information or serve third-party behavioral advertising.
If you choose “Essential only,” TCR does not initialize PostHog analytics, PostHog session replay, or Vercel Analytics in your browser. Changing to Essential only stops future analytics capture on that browser; information previously collected may remain subject to our retention practices.
4. Google Maps and embedded services
Map, location, and place-search features may connect to Google Maps Platform. Google may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own Privacy Policy and terms. Other third-party content opened from TCR may use technologies controlled by that third party.
5. Your choices
Use “Cookie Preferences” in the footer to choose Analytics or Essential only. Your selection is stored in local storage on that browser. Clearing browser data will clear the choice and TCR will ask again. You can also block or delete cookies through browser settings, although doing so may affect sign-in and saved functionality.
6. Technologies currently in use
- TCR authentication and security: essential account sessions, security, and request handling.
- TCR local storage: consent choice and limited product-state preferences.
- PostHog: consented product analytics and masked session replay.
- Vercel Analytics: consented site usage and performance measurement.
- Google Maps Platform: map and place functionality where used.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when technologies or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
